MACROL TUNGSTEN CARBIDE:
It's combines the advantages of Cast Tungsten Carbide(CTC)with those of
mono tungsten carbide(WC).
Each of the irregularily shaped MTC particles consists of a high
hardness CTC core and a shell of WC.
preventing formation of brittle eta phases during welding.
Blends of MTC with Ni, Fe or Co based alloy powders are used to
produce superior wear and shock resistant coatings
by PTA welding, lasercladding or other wear protective welding
applications.
Further more, MTC can be used for the production of drill bits by
infiltration.
